NJ Grant Helps Livingston Center Empower People With Special Needs
At Nassau Consulting Group, we are proud to have played a role in securing $500,000 in state funding for LifeTown, a groundbreaking nonprofit in Livingston, NJ that serves children, teens, and adults with special needs. Recently featured in Patch, LifeTown was recognized for its innovative, simulated “Main Street,” which offers individuals the opportunity to practice real-life skills in a safe, supportive environment.
This critical funding—championed by several New Jersey lawmakers—will subsidize visits for Title I school students, expanding access to LifeTown’s programs for over 10,000 individuals from low-income communities. The grant ensures that families and students who might otherwise be left behind can benefit from the center’s immersive, empowering experiences.
Our team at Nassau is honored to support initiatives like LifeTown, which reflect the very best of public-private partnership and demonstrate the lasting impact of thoughtful, strategic advocacy. When policy meets purpose, communities thrive.
